You will find the classes beneficial to you and the baby during pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period.

“Our Post Natal Yoga Group includes 1 hour of yoga to help you connect to yourself and your baby, regain core strength, tone and energise your body  followed by mother's group and morning tea for an enjoyable yet relaxing and supportive mums and bubs class”

Morning Tea is an opportunity to openly discuss alternatives for dealing with tiredness, settling, weaning, breastfeeding, and many other health and emotional issues for baby and mother and to connect to like-minded women in the Baulkham Hills area.

Post Natal Yoga allows for a more gentle recovery after the birth for both you and your baby.  

  

A slower, more gentle post birth recovery can assist in stronger bonding between you  and your baby, will help you to more easily understand your baby's cues and needs and often results in a more calm and settled baby and easier breastfeeding.   Over-stimulation and stress can often cause reflux, colic and 'ill at ease' babies.  These classes will give you the time and space for you and your baby to become calm and relaxed. 

  

Each week you will be given personal instructions and adjustments to ensure that you are creating a strong foundation for long term health  - for body, mind and baby.  You will also be given homework sheets to continue practice at home, beginning with just a few minutes a day.

  

Week 1:  Mula Bandha and engage Base Chakra

Week 2:  Neck and should release and open Throat Chakra

Week 2:  Back strengthening and expand Heart Chakra

Week 3:  Abdominal toning and strengthen Hara Chakra

Week 4:  Re-energising your body and the Power Chakra

Week 6:  Relaxation and Meditation to relax and open Brow Chakra (Third Eye) and Crown Chakra (Consciousness)

  

Mula Bandha - You will receive detailed instruction to ensure correct execution of Mula Bandha (root lock) allowing a full recovery of core muscles through yoga postures that engage and tone the pelvic floor muscles, abdominal muscles and stabalising muscles.  Mula Bandha not only strengthens these core muscles but also ensures the balanced flow of energy into the pelvic area and to the 1st Chakra (root chakra) - giving you more prana (also known life force and vitality) We incorporate Mula Bandha  into postures such as Tadasna (Mountain pose), Viribradrasana I (Warrrior 1 pose), Adho Mukha Svanasana (Down face dog pose) and Sukhasana (Easy sitting pose), helping to create life long habits for good health and long term wellbeing.

  

Chakras - You will learn about the Chakras , which are energy centres in the body.  If a chakra or 'energy centre' is weak or blocked (ie stagnant energy)  we can feel fatigue in certain areas of our life and illness in certain areas of our body.  There are 7 chakras.  Different yoga postures help to open, energise and create balanced flow of energy through these chakras.

WOMEN'S HEALTH YOGA GROUP

Thursdays 8 pm - 9 pm

Cost $160 for 10 class pass (valid 12 weeks)

  

Specifically designed for women’s health and wellbeing.  It is suitable for all levels of experience. Women’s Yoga is for  improving hormonal balance, menstrual cycles, fertility, menopausal symptoms, increasing core strength, building energy levels and reducing stress.

  

Yoga with Toddlers

Fridays 10.30-11.30am

Starts Friday October 28th

Cost:  $160 for 10 class pass (valid 12 weeks) OR $85 for 5 class pass (valid 6 weeks)

  

“Come along with your toddler or preschooler to give them a fun introduction to yoga while you work on your own needs – core strength, stretching, toning, energy levels and all of the other wonderful benefits of yoga”

Yoga helps with concentration, co-ordination, flexibility while bringing balance to body and mind for a healthier and more aware existence.  An invaluable activity to add to your children’s week for a great start in life.

  

Me & My Mum class

Sundays 9am-10am

$125 per couple for 5 week pass (valid 6 weeks)

A very special class specifically for mothers and daughters (7-14 years) to attend together. 

This class will assist girls in their wellness, being comfortable within themselves and helping to realign their body as they grow and develop. It is also a chance to introduce them to meditation, a skill that will serve them well throughout their whole lives.  For mums, feel energetic and centered - on a Sunday morning!

Nurture your relationship and start your week clearing the mind, gaining focus, stretching and strengthening the body.
